What a wonderful Christmas we had this year. We spent Christmas Eve at my grandparents where we had a delicious dinner and a great time with my mom’s side of the family.

Charlie was so excited for Santa to come. Here he is coming down the stairs Christmas morning

Santa came!

He even left a note-

Charlie was so excited to get Jet Pack Thomas- this is what he asked Santa for

Dec. 19-
Today is our last day in NYC. I am having mixed feelings about leaving… I am so excited to return to Cincinnati and spend some time in FL. However, I have enjoyed our time here in NYC. I will definitely miss our cool loft, great meals, fun nights out, all of the action & excitement, celebrity stalking, The Gavins, Bosers, Jay & Erin, the fun classes and nice people at Charlie’s “school”, shopping & sample sales, walking everywhere…
This has been a crazy & exciting year for us and one we will never forget- Thanks to everyone who came to visit and all of your love and support during this time.
See you in Florida or Cincinnati!!!!

We are happy to say that we have bought a house in Cincinnati and are officially moving back
Ironically, it is on the same street as our old house, Edwards Rd.!!!! It is an old house and needs lots of TLC. We will be living in Florida starting in Jan-until we finish some remodeling (about 3 months). We are anxious to get back to our friends and life in Cincinnati, but looking forward to being “snow birds” in Florida for the winter- come visit!
Here’s our new place-

Dec 3-18
We have been enjoying our last few weeks here. The weather hasn’t been too bad- no major snowstorms or super freezing temps.
Here is our little NYC x-mas tree

Charlie all bundled up in his T-rex hat which he loves to growl at everyone

Dec. 8- we had a great last night out on the town with the NYC crew. Michael and Annie Gavin were in town too. We had a delicious dinner at Sapa- very cool place. We always go to these trendy restaurants in big groups and end up having too many cocktails before dinner to remember if the food was any good

Dec. 10- Bill & I went on a date to see “American Gangster”- great movie! Crazy to think it actually happened. We had dinner at Nobu Next Door (lots of celebrities go to Nobu). Nobu Next Door is more casual- great asian food- we tried crazy things: black cod, weird strimp & sushi-
Charlie really knows the way to my heart now… He says “look nice momma”. Yesterday he said “momma beautiful”- ok kid, whatever you want
That sure made my day.
For those of you who asked to see pictures of our loft- here it is…the pictures look nicer than it actually looks b/c they came to do a photo shoot so they can start trying to get new renters for next year.

Dec. 13- We went to see the big tree near Bill’s office on Wall Street- the financial district looks so pretty with all of the decorations.

It’s so cool how they wrap the poles of the stock exchange to look like a flag

Gigi came over to play

Dec. 17- Bill & I went on our last NYC date- we had a delicious dinner at Becco (highly recommended for any visitors) and saw the tree at Rockefeller Center. It was a great last date.

Dec 14-16: I went to Chicago to host a bachelorette party for my cousin Kate, who is getting married in Feb.
I had a great girls only weekend- Fri night & sat day I spent with Allie & my mom eating & shopping.
Sat night was the big bachelorette party- I rented a room at the Westin and we had drinks, appetizers, games & gifts- Here is a view of Michigan Ave. from the hotel room.

It was so much fun and Kate was a great sport, even with the “dirty” things. Kate’s friends are so sweet (and so pretty).

Then we were off to dinner at a cool Latin restaurant, Nacional 27. We had a delicious dinner and danced. It was a great night!

Dec. 1-3- Quick visit to Cincinnati…
Charlie got to see Santa. He was so excited and kept telling us he was “very brave” while waiting in line. Bill had practiced with him so he knew what to say. He told Santa he wanted “Jet Pack Thomas” and when his turn was over he just stood there looking at us and looking at Santa. It finally occurred to us that he was waiting for the toy. We forgot to explain that Santa would be bringing it on Christmas- It was very cute (and kinda sad).

waiting in line (very brave)

Hanging out with Scott & Julie
